CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

A. Background

Tourism is a key sector for Gorontalo. The number of objects and attractions in Gorontalo has absorbed a visit with tourists, both foreign and domestic tourists. Gorontalo rich in natural beauty and tourist travel makes history. This makes the city of Gorontalo as a tourist destination in Indonesia. CHAPTER II

CONTENTS OF THE REPORT

A. Preparation

Exactly at 06.00 pm, all students and lecturers in the compulsory already gathered in front of the majors. 07:00 am there was a little guidance from the supervisor, then all students preparing to leave. At 7:15 pm, all students’ semesters 3 and 5 depart from campus to travel. During the trip we used the time to record the trip and it was done by each group. Exactly at 10.00 am we arrived at the Domestic travel in 2000 did guiding. After doing tours for 15 minutes, and then we all went on a trip to Village Religion. 10:30 arrived at the village of Religion, we did a guiding in each group of students semesters 3 and 5. Activities in Village travel Religion took a picture of the history and the facilities there.

11:30 pm entourage traveled to Fort Otanaha and arrived at Fort Otanaha at 12.00 and the price of admission to Fort Otanaha Rp3, 000 / person and also once a ticket for parking of vehicles. And at 12:05 pm we all enjoyed the lunch and after that, go to the mosque for midday prayers in congregation and rest awhile. At 14:00 pm, the supervisor collects the students to prepare their respective groups to climb stairs to get to Fort Otanaha, Otahiya, and Ulupahu. To reach the top of the fort is not easy, because searchers must pass four pieces of transitory and 348 pieces of stairs. After enjoying the beautiful scenery in Fort Otanaha, at 15:00 pm we travel again heading to Soekarno landing. Arriving there, we went straight to the museum, in which there are pictures of the first President Soekarno and books that are in the glass. We also do guiding inside the museum, and after that faculty gather all the students to take pictures in front of the museum.

At 15:55 pm we continue the journey back to the Tower of Greatness Limboto and Baiturrahman Mosque and arriving there at 16:20 pm, a call to prayer ashar implement and we also pray in the mosque Baiturrahman. After the prayer, we also do guiding in front of the mosque and around the Tower of Greatness Limboto. After that, the lecturers back to collect our students to take pictures in front of the mosque. Then after that, all students and lecturers headed to the tourist attractions of the last namely custom house Gorontalo (Bantayo Po Boide) without using the car again (on foot) at 16:55 pm.

At 17.WIB we get to the last tour and conduct more joint guiding their respective groups. After that, the lecturer told us to close our guiding at the custom house. Then we regroup and take pictures in front of the customs house. At 17:30 pm we went back to college and finish already Study Tour.

B. Tourist Attraction is visited

1. Stairs 2000

  

At 10.00 pm up to 2000. Domestic and regional Gorontalo has a very wide area and also so many tourist places which are visited by foreign tourists and also local. One of them is Ladder 2000 located in the Village Pohe, South City District, and Gorontalo. Stairs 2000 was already so much to know because it is already quite long, because it has a panoramic and extraordinary beauty beautiful.

2. Religious village

3. Fort Otanaha

Besides having a tourist spot as entertainment, the city also has a place - tourist, educational, and historic.

B. Suggestions

The tour works very well to be implemented because it has considerable benefits. Therefore, this activity should continue to be held by visiting a place - any other place in Indonesia, especially in Gorontalo.
